Background The contract is issued by the US Air Force, specifically the 9th Contracting Squadron at Beale AFB, CA. Work Details The scope of work includes: - A design refresh of select treatment units; - Structural and architectural updates to modernize the facility; - Incorporation of a phased construction approach to maintain operational capabilities during construction; - Updating designs to meet current code requirements due to revisions in Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC); - Reconciling original designs with current plant conditions; - Validating design flows and loadings with operations personnel; - Providing additional design services for upgraded headworks; - Replacing effluent disposal pumps; - Implementing a 12% sodium hypochlorite system; - Demolishing anaerobic digesters; - Rehabilitating drying beds; - Paving; - Repairing roofs; and - Replacing generators.
