Building 1 is the main hospital building with nine (9) occupied floors (Basement Eighth Floor), a mechanical penthouse (Ninth Floor) and an elevator machine room (Tenth Floor). Some of the Building 1 exterior windows have been replaced post-1990 and will not be addressed in this project.

Building 1 serves as the main hospital building and consists of nine occupied floors, including a basement and an elevator machine room. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's infrastructure by replacing outdated windows while ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, supplies, services, and equipment to complete the work as outlined in the Statement of Work and associated specifications. Key tasks include: - Replacing existing pre-1990 exterior windows; - Conducting asbestos and lead paint abatement; - Performing field verification to identify all equipment, parts, and materials; - Ensuring that new materials are installed according to manufacturer’s instructions; - Managing the removal and disposal of construction debris and hazardous materials in compliance with relevant regulations; - Facilitating any applicable rebates or incentives with local utility companies.
