Background The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) is seeking to maintain its water for injection and pure steam generation and distribution systems. This contract aims to ensure the continued operation of these critical systems, which are essential for supplying process water and pure steam for sterilization in support of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). The maintenance services will be performed at the Pilot Bioproduction Facility (PBF) located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Work Details The contractor will provide non-personal services including: - Preventative maintenance on a quarterly, semiannual, and annual basis. - Calibration of systems. - A five-year overhaul of equipment. - Emergency service as needed. - All necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items required to perform these services. Maintenance tasks will include keeping the water and steam systems operational at all times, ensuring compliance with safety procedures such as lockout/tagout protocols, and adhering to cleanroom gowning requirements when necessary. Documentation must reflect industry standards and include detailed service reports after each maintenance visit that outline any deficiencies encountered and corrective actions taken. Place of Performance The maintenance services will be conducted at the Pilot Bioproduction Facility (PBF) within the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research located in Silver Spring, Maryland.
