Background The Bureau of Reclamation, part of the U.S. Department of the Interior, is seeking services for troubleshooting and repair of a Cummins Trailer Mounted Generator at the Boysen Power Plant in Fremont County, Wyoming. The generator is currently non-operational, and the goal of this contract is to restore it to full operational status. Work Details The contractor will provide all necessary management, supervision, labor, subcontractors, materials, supplies, and equipment to effectively complete the following tasks: 1. Troubleshoot the generator to identify the cause(s) of its failure to operate correctly. The contractor must travel to the Boysen Power Plant located at 11401 Highway 20, Shoshoni, Wyoming 82649. Fault codes displayed on the generator include Engine Hot Shut Down, Low Battery Voltage, Cool 1 Level Sensor High, Weak Battery, Too Long in Idle, Engine Warning, Low Coolant Level, and CAN Data Link Failure. 2. Repair the generator based on troubleshooting findings. All materials and supplies must be of acceptable industrial grade and compatible with existing systems. The contractor must ensure that all work complies with safety standards set by OSHA and Bureau of Reclamation guidelines.
