This sources sought notice is issued in an effort to conduct market research for information and planning purposes only. The Government is soliciting information to identify firms capable of performing the services stated below. The contractor shall perform corrective and preventative maintenance services on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) at the DLA Disposition Services Anchorage location. The attached PWS provides the detailed requirements this opportunity calls for. The following information is required for responding to this request. Identify if you are a large or small business concern. If small business, please identify if you fall under a specific socioeconomic category (WOSB, SDVOSB, 8(a), Etc.). This procurement will be under NAICS 811310 with a size standard of $12.5 million. Provide a statement of capabilities to perform maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Statement of capabilities should include detailed technical expertise information, process information, employee experience / expertise and / or other informational literature demonstrating the direct ability to perform on this requirement. Interested parties may submit the above information to satisfy this requirement to the contract person below. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotes / proposals. All information shall be submitted via e-mail to james.isola@dla.mil. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Background The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services (DS) is a Major Subordinate Command responsible for disposing and reutilizing excess and surplus property generated by the Department of Defense (DoD). This sources sought notice aims to identify firms capable of performing maintenance services on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) at the DLA Disposition Services Anchorage location. The goal is to ensure that MHE is operational to support military services effectively. Work Details The contractor shall perform corrective and preventative maintenance services on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) at the DLA Disposition Services Anchorage location. Key tasks include: 1. Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct at least one PM annually per item, including lower-level maintenance checks, load tests, limited technical inspections, and ensuring compliance with OEM specifications. Notify the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) two business days prior to arrival for PM services and complete within ten business days. 2. Corrective Maintenance (CM): Assess and troubleshoot CM service requests within five business days, provide written estimates for repairs, use OEM recommended parts, and complete repairs within five business days of receiving necessary parts. 3. Maintain an adequate workforce for all tasks defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). 4. Comply with base access and security regulations while performing services on USG premises during normal business hours. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the DLA Disposition Services Anchorage facilities.
