Background The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a Market Survey to enhance its understanding of the current marketplace and identify capable sources for janitorial services. The goal is to gather information from interested vendors to confirm their qualifications and capabilities for providing consolidated janitorial services at various FAA facilities located throughout the Miami District, which includes the state of Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands (USVI). This survey will help determine if there is adequate competition for setting aside the requirement for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB), Small Businesses, or full and open competition. Work Details The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to perform janitorial services as specified in the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) for FAA facilities. Key tasks include: - Waste/Recycle Receptacles management - Policing grounds and maintaining cleanliness - Surface dusting and cleaning - Cleaning windows and window coverings - Maintaining carpeted floors, tiles, rugs, and mats - Cleaning uncarpeted floors - Maintaining stairwells, elevators, and handicap lifts - Cleaning restrooms, showers, and locker rooms - Sanitizing drinking fountains - Maintaining lactation rooms, kitchen areas, breakrooms, and queue lines (excluding contracted commercial kitchens) - Cleaning wellness centers and operational areas - Handling blood and bodily fluids with appropriate safety measures. The contractor must also establish a Quality Control Plan to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Period of Performance The anticipated period of performance is from April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2031 for one base year with four options. Note that multiple periods of performance may differ by location to facilitate transitions across all locations. Place of Performance Various locations throughout the Miami District including the state of Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands (USVI).
