Background The U.S. Government is seeking to procure Post Wide Fire Systems Inspection, Testing and Repair, including Grease Ducts, Hoods Cleaning, and Fire Suppression services at Fort Jackson, SC. The goal of this acquisition is to maintain operational facility fire systems through a continuous inspection and repair schedule for the buildings and facilities listed in the attached Technical Exhibits. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the latest published Unified Facilities Code, applicable National Fire Codes, and other recognized industry standards. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary to perform fire systems inspection and repair as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Specific tasks include: 1) Conducting inspections and testing of fire protection systems; 2) Cleaning hood systems; 3) Maintaining high-quality inspection programs for fire alarm protection systems and water-based fire protection systems; 4) Ensuring compliance with NFPA standards for grease ducts; 5) Performing minor repairs as part of the contract pricing; 6) Submitting timely reports on inspections; 7) Developing a Quality Control Plan to ensure service standards are met; 8) Completing training requirements for contractor personnel including Antiterrorism Level I Training and OPSEC Training. Place of Performance The work will be performed at various locations on Fort Jackson, SC.
