Background The Pipette Calibration Services contract is issued by the Forensic Exploitation Department within the US Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL). The mission of this contract is to provide essential calibration services for pipettes used in forensic processing, ensuring they meet ISO-17025 accreditation standards. The goal is to maintain the functionality and reliability of pipettes critical for laboratory operations. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform calibration services for pipettes. This includes: - Two annual onsite preventative maintenance visits for calibration and technical support. - All pipettes must be reconditioned, calibrated, and certified to ISO-17025 standards. - Reconditioning involves disassembly (if applicable), inspection, cleaning, lubrication (as required), and replacement of high wear items such as seals or o-rings. - A calibration sticker/label must be affixed to each pipette indicating the date of service and the next calibration due date (set to December 31 of the following year). - Certificates of calibration with an ISO-17025 accredited stamp must be provided. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from March 20th, 2026 to March 19th, 2027. Calibration services will be due in March and October during this period. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the US Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL) facilities.
