Background The 60th Maintenance Squadron's Crash Damaged/Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) team at Travis Air Force Base, California, has a requirement for Storage/Travel Cases to support their mission of recovering and repairing multiple types of aircraft, including the C-17, C-5, and KC-46. The current storage solution is aging and not weather sealed, leading to costly repairs. The goal of this contract is to provide permanent storage and transport cases designed to prevent damage and degradation of critical emergency response equipment. Work Details The contractor shall provide 4 Wilson Case ATA-300 Part # 84-7465-15T Lifting Bag Cases - 15 Ton. Specifications include: - Outer Dimensions: 103"L x 53"W x 36"H with a 4” skid base for forklift access. - Case Panels: 1/2" Single Lam – Black with 1/2" foam inner lining. - Case Lid Inner Dimensions: 100"L x 50"W x 8"H with handle pairs on each side. - Case Body Inner Dimensions: 100"L x 50"W x 22"H. - Interior Base: A 10” base in the interior body divided into a grid of 15 cubbies (3x5) capable of supporting an 800 lbs top load; each cubby measures a minimum of 14”L x 18¾”. - Main Body Front Panel: Removable for easy loading, stenciled with Aero Repair insignia and "26T". - Side Panel: Stenciled with "15T". - Lid: Stenciled with "15 TON". Additionally, a one-year warranty and shipping costs must be included. Period of Performance The contractor shall deliver the cases within 30 days after contract award.
