Background The contract is issued by the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) for the USDB Textiles Warehouse Expansion & Renovation project located at 1251 USD Road, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The mission of the DPW is to provide sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) services to support military operations. The goal of this contract is to manage various construction projects that enhance the functionality and safety of the warehouse facility. Work Details The contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, management, personnel, labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, and other items required to complete various construction tasks. Key tasks include: - Addition of an approximate 1,280 SF metal building office addition and new recessed truck dock. - Repair or replacement of mechanical, electrical, and fire protection and detection systems. - Repairs related to building renovation or demolition. - Interior remodeling work including carpentry, painting, floor and wall covering or finishes. The contractor must have experience managing multiple task orders simultaneously and will be responsible for construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors across various trades. Additional requirements include providing stamped structural engineered drawings for modifications and ensuring compliance with safety standards as outlined by OSHA and Army Corps of Engineers.
