Work Details The contract includes the provision of software, implementation services, integrations, data conditioning and conversion, training, and post-implementation support. The FMS must support: 1. General ledger and fund accounting (governmental and enterprise) 2. Accounts payable and purchasing 3. Cash management functions 4. Operating and capital budgeting 5. Capital project accounting 6. Capital asset management 7. Grant tracking and compliance support 8. Financial reporting for finance departments. The solution should enable continuous close practices, integrated budgeting with real-time visibility into budget-to-actual performance, role-based self-service reporting for departmental users, and must function as a single source of truth with near-real-time integration capabilities. Period of Performance The contract is expected to commence upon execution on June 3, 2026, following the proposal evaluation process which includes vendor demonstrations from April 13 to April 24, 2026. Place of Performance The services will be performed in Missoula, Montana. Bidder Requirements Vendors must demonstrate experience implementing financial management systems for local governments of similar size and complexity. They are required to provide corporate background information, customer references from similar municipalities, detailed pricing structures separated by technology and services proposed, as well as compliance with insurance requirements including commercial general liability insurance.
