Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation to support Glacier National Park's mission of maintaining safe and functional facilities. The contract aims to provide inspection and cleaning services for chimneys, coal stoves, and wood stoves across 27 locations within the park. This initiative is crucial for ensuring compliance with safety standards and enhancing visitor experience in the park. Work Details The contractor will perform the following tasks: 1. Inspection and cleaning of chimneys, coal stoves, and wood stoves at 27 designated locations throughout Glacier National Park. 2. Services must comply with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 211 standards. 3. The contractor is required to coordinate the exact dates and times of service with the NPS at least one week in advance for each performance period. 4. The contract includes a Base Period from June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026, followed by four option years extending through August 31, 2030. Period of Performance Base Period: June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026; Option Year One: June 1, 2027 – August 31, 2027; Option Year Two: June 1, 2028 – August 31, 2028; Option Year Three: June 1, 2029 – August 30, 2029; Option Year Four: June 1, 2030 – August 31, 2030.
