Background The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is a United States Department of War agency that provides worldwide logistics support for the missions of the Military Departments and Unified Combatant Commands during peace and war. DLA Distribution's mission is to deliver effective, efficient, and innovative distribution services to combatant commands, military services, and other agencies. This contract focuses on providing maintenance services for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Industrial equipment at DLA Distribution Tobyhanna, PA. Work Details The Contractor shall perform battery preventative maintenance (BPM), preventative maintenance (PM), and corrective maintenance (CM) on various types of MHE and industrial equipment. The Contractor is responsible for providing all labor, tools, materials, replacement parts, transportation, and supervision necessary for these maintenance services. The scope includes but is not limited to: - Maintenance on material handling equipment such as forklifts, battery chargers, motor vehicles, warehouse sweepers, etc. - Compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals for maintenance procedures. - Timely response to service calls within one business day. - Development of corrective maintenance plans if equipment is not operational within three business days after receipt of parts. - Use of the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) for tracking work orders and equipment status. - Adherence to security requirements including personnel clearances and training.
