Background The Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, is conducting this sources sought to identify potential vendors capable of providing a new Sanding Booth for the Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD). The goal of this contract is to enhance the depot's capability to repair composite materials, which includes handling radar antennas, radomes, and other components. The new booth will support the application of epoxies and glazing compounds while ensuring safety and compliance with environmental standards. Work Details The contract requires a turn-key design, engineering, supply, delivery, installation, assembly, set-up, and training for a crossdraft-style sanding booth. Key specifications include: - Minimum dimensions: 39 feet long by 16 feet wide and 14 feet high. - Capacity: Accommodate up to four workers. - Components include: crossdraft booth, air filtration system (not a dust collection system), front bifold door, rear roll-up door, one regular and one double-wide personnel door, interior LED lighting, central vacuum system, compressed and breathable air connection points. - Additional options may include fire protection systems and fall protection.
