Background The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Montana Area Office (MTAO) is seeking custodial services for thirteen recreation areas in and around Barretts Diversion Dam and Clark Canyon Reservoir, located 7 miles and 18 miles south of Dillon, MT, respectively. The goal of this contract is to ensure that these public recreation areas maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance for visitors, meeting or exceeding industry standards for facility condition. The concession area is excluded from this contract. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials (unless specified otherwise), transportation, cleaning supplies (unless specified otherwise), equipment (unless specified otherwise), and supervision necessary to perform custodial services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Specific tasks include: - Cleaning the insides of vault toilets; - Restocking hand sanitizer dispensers; - Collecting trash from receptacles; - Removing food waste and animal excrement from picnic tables; - Cleaning fire rings and standing grills; - Maintaining shade shelters; and - Ensuring restroom facilities are cleaned regularly. The contractor must service 23 restrooms at least three times weekly during peak months and once weekly during winter months. Additionally, the contractor will manage garbage collection from 104 trash cans across the recreation areas, ensuring timely disposal of litter and debris. Period of Performance The contract has a period of performance from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with four optional one-year extensions available at the discretion of the Bureau of Reclamation. Place of Performance The custodial services will be performed at thirteen designated recreation areas around Barretts Diversion Dam and Clark Canyon Reservoir in Montana.
