Background The State of Indiana is seeking bids for trash removal services at the Correctional Industrial Facility, specifically for the ICI Shops located at 5124 W. Reformatory Road, Pendleton, IN 46064. The goal of this contract is to ensure regular refuse collection and removal services for the facility, which is part of Indiana Correctional Industries (ICI). Work Details The contractor will provide one (1) 8 cubic yard closed top unit for trash collection and removal once per week. Services are to be conducted Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding state holidays. The unit will be located behind the fence within the correctional facility. The contract covers trash removal services for the remainder of fiscal year 2026 and extends through fiscal years 2027-2028, concluding with the remaining weeks of fiscal year 2029, ending on February 28, 2029. All costs must be inclusive of delivery, pickup, hauling, and trash removal. Period of Performance The contract will commence on February 12, 2026, and will continue until March 31, 2029. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the Correctional Industrial Facility located at 5124 W. Reformatory Road, Pendleton, IN 46064. Bids must include unit prices extended and total prices shown; any errors between unit price and total price will default to the unit price. Vendors are required to provide necessary insurance coverage for their employees while performing work on state property.
