This contract includes office move coordination, planning, packing, pickup, delivery, unpacking and other preparations including but not limited to moving furniture files, boxes, chairs, desks, equipment, and related supplies from an existing location, transporting items to a new location, and placing the objects according to the direction of the CPUC. The Contractor must provide their own vehicle and drivers. The Contractor must also provide moving supplies such as boxes, packing tape, moving blankets, and other such materials as needed to render services. The Contractor must also provide storage-in-transit and/or storage of State Equipment, and upholstery cleaning services, at the discretion of the CPUC.

The CPUC's mission is to regulate utility services and ensure safe, reliable, and affordable utility service for California residents. This contract aims to provide comprehensive moving services including planning, packing, transportation, and installation of office equipment and furniture across various CPUC locations in California. Work Details The contractor will provide a full range of moving services including: - Office move coordination, planning, packing, pickup, delivery, unpacking, and placement of items as directed by the CPUC. - Moving furniture, files, boxes, chairs, desks, equipment, and related supplies from existing locations to new locations. - Providing labor, vehicles (minimum 17 feet in length), equipment, and materials necessary for moving operations. - Removal of surplus property following Department of General Services (DGS) guidelines. - Removal of packing materials and debris from government premises as directed. - Upholstery cleaning services as requested by the CPUC. - Storage-in-transit or long-term storage for state equipment if required. - Ensuring all personnel are licensed and insured to perform their tasks safely. Period of Performance The contract term is three years with an effective start date noted in the attached Standard Agreement. All work related to this agreement must be completed within twelve months following the end date of the contract. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various CPUC locations including: - 505 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco - 300 Capitol Mall in Sacramento - 400 R Street in Sacramento - 915 L Street in Sacramento - 320 W 4th Street in Los Angeles - Future locations as determined by the CPUC. Bidder Requirements Contractors must provide proof of insurance coverage including workers' compensation and general liability insurance with specified limits. They must also comply with all local laws and regulations regarding moving services. Additionally, contractors are required to have personnel available to commence work within ten business days upon notice from the CPUC.
