Work Details The contractor will provide comprehensive exterior painting services for designated steel elements across four buildings on the WFRC campus. This includes: - Surface preparation: Cleaning and preparing surfaces by removing loose or peeling paint, treating rust where applicable, and ensuring surfaces are clean before painting. - Application of a rust-inhibitive primer designed for ferrous metals followed by two coats of industrial-grade topcoat to ensure long-term corrosion protection. - Specific tasks include: - Painting six fire hydrants with surface preparation and finish coat application. - Painting nine downspouts, architectural/structural steel entries, one mechanical room double door/frame, and one roof hatch/frame on the Administration Building.
