Seeking sources for qualified, interested vendors to supply wooden tooling boxes for use in aircraft tools and parts storage. Boxes must be made to military specification and meet all Salient Characteristics and material requirements. Specification sheet attached to this notice is for reference only. Vendors will be required to provide an original drawing with specification sheet which demonstrates an understanding of the requirement and capability to perform according to technical orders. The Government intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement(s) to the responsible vendor(s) who can demonstrate an ability to supply the requested product within the delivery period requirement. Initial delivery will be a quantity of ten (10) boxes within the first 21 days after award. Additional call orders may be placed at least every 30 days. This agreement is anticipated to be a 5-year agreement for a quantity Not To Exceed 5,000 for the total agreement ordering term. Qualified vendors may express interest by submitting the following: 1. A capabilities narrative, not to exceed 3 pages, 2. Drawing indicating an understanding of the requirement 3. Price estimates for market research purposes only, official quotes not requested at this time All documents should be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Patricia Murray, via email not later than 8:00AM MST on Thursday, 12 February 2026.

Background The Government is seeking sources for qualified vendors to supply wooden tooling boxes intended for use in aircraft tools and parts storage. These boxes must adhere to military specifications and meet all salient characteristics and material requirements. The goal of this contract is to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement with responsible vendors capable of fulfilling the delivery requirements. Work Details Vendors are required to supply custom wooden boxes with the following specifications: - Quantity: 90 boxes per month, with an initial delivery of 10 boxes within the first 21 days after award. - Overall dimensions of each box: Width: 40 inches, Height: 40 inches, Length: 115 inches. - Construction must use 9-Gauge 16-penny Vinyl Coated Smooth Shank Sinker Nails, capable of supporting 5,000 lbs and stackable two high. - Material: Nominal Douglas Fir wood that is heat treated, kiln-dried, including dimensions of various components: - Wood Box Base: Length: 114 inches, Width: 39 inches. - Wood Box Short Side: Length: 39 inches, Height: 39 inches. - Wood Box Long Side: Length: 115 inches, Height: 36 inches. - Wood Box Lid: Length: 40 inches, Height: 115 inches. - Each box must be fully assembled prior to shipment and include a removable drop-in lid and one removable side secured with 8D duplex nails.
