Background The Wyoming Department of Health, Behavioral Health Division, Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) is seeking to address staffing challenges by soliciting proposals for temporary therapy staffing services. The agency supports a variety of clientele with developmental and intellectual disabilities, brain injuries, and physical disabilities, requiring medical services in compliance with state and federal regulations. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary therapy services through qualified professionals to improve the quality of life for residents. Work Details The contractor will provide temporary therapy staffing services including: - Occupational Therapists - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants - Physical Therapists - Physical Therapy Assistants. Services include assessments, care plan developments, treatment of patients, participation in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. Assignments typically last 13 weeks. Therapists must be licensed in Wyoming and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility unless approved by the Agency. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon execution and is expected to last for a typical assignment period of 13 weeks per therapist placement, with potential extensions based on need. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the Wyoming Life Resource Center located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Bidder Requirements Proposers must demonstrate that their therapists are licensed in Wyoming and in good standing. Proposed therapists cannot work at the assigned facility for longer than six months without approval. Proposers must also provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
