Background The Vermont Department of Health is seeking to establish contracts with one or more companies to update the Vermont Crisis Standards of Care Plan. This plan was originally created in 2021 to provide an ethical and operational framework for resource allocation and clinical guidelines during catastrophic disasters or public health emergencies. The goal of this RFP is to support the update process and outreach to various stakeholders, including medical providers, emergency managers, patients, and government officials. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1) Facilitation and Update: Work with the Plan Coordinator to update stakeholder contacts, communicate plan updates, and finalize the updated plan. 2) Communication Materials: Create a one-hour presentation on plan updates for various audiences and develop a 1-2 page overview document defining Crisis Standards of Care (CSC). 3) Stakeholder Meeting Logistics: Identify venues for meetings, conduct pre-meeting logistics, and ensure all presentations are approved by VDH. 4) Final Submission & Project Closeout: Submit all documents for approval by VDH and ensure all changes are communicated effectively.
