Work Details The contractor will perform mowing services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include: 1) Mowing grass to a height of 2 ½ inches using vendor-supplied equipment with guards; 2) Using a weed-eater or herbicide along fencing, foundations, footings, guy wires, ditches, and permanent objects; 3) Ensuring herbicide does not extend more than 6 inches on either side of objects; 4) Mowing a four-foot path around all fences; 5) Mowing or trimming grass along entrance and exit roads; 6) Removing all trash from the mowing area prior to each session; 7) Wearing hardhats at all times and safety glasses while using a weed-eater. The mowing schedule includes: - Doniphan & Idalia: Every two weeks for a total of 30 mowings. - Poplar Bluff & Sikeston: Every two weeks for a total of 26 mowings outside the substation fence only. - Piggott Tower: Once a month between the 1st and 10th day for a total of 7 mowings.
