PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain industry capabilities, to determine interest in participation, and to determine the availability to provide Account Management Services for Waste management at U.S. Coast Guard units, with locations in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. The information from this market research will help them with the acquisition strategy. Firms are strongly encouraged to provide comments, questions, and suggestions relative to the project scope, methodologies and technologies, and approach. Any input that businesses or interested parties would like to provide will be reviewed and considered.

SCOPE/DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel and any required special tools or equipment necessary to complete any work task, which may be issued. The Contractor shall manage the trash and recycling services at all USCG Southeast District sites in accordance with the accounts listed in Statement of Work. Background The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking industry capabilities through this Request for Information (RFI) to assess interest and availability for providing Account Management Services for waste management at various Coast Guard units located in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. The goal of this RFI is to gather insights that will inform the acquisition strategy for these services. Work Details The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel and any required special tools or equipment necessary to complete work tasks as issued. Key responsibilities include managing trash and recycling services at all USCG Southeast District sites according to the accounts listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor must have experience managing government accounts for the Coast Guard and provide technical support for both USCG Bases and Stations. Specific tasks include: 1) Providing all invoices in arrears for services rendered; 2) Accepting purchase orders and receiving payments in arrears; 3) Submitting proper invoices through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP); 4) Ensuring timely payment processing to avoid late fees; 5) Providing help desk services with a call center operational from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time, ensuring calls are answered within three minutes; 6) Managing trash and recycling services as detailed in the SOW, including specific service requirements for various units.
