Background The USDA-Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking to procure feed corn to support livestock used in research projects related to cattle reproductive physiology, nutrition, and genetics. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns and aims to provide 4,500 bushels of quality feed corn for the winter and early spring months. Work Details The contractor is required to deliver 4,500 bushels of good quality storable feed corn with the following specifications: - Moisture content must be less than 15% and free from mold. - The corn must be #2 yellow whole corn harvested in the 2024 or 2025 growing season. - It should be free of insects and insect damage, with minimal dust and kernel cracking. - Deliveries will be made as bulk feed via semi-load starting after receipt of order (ARO) and continuing through May 15, 2026. - Certified weight tickets must be provided for each shipment, confirming total weight at the destination.
