Background The National Cemetery Administration is seeking geese control services at Willamette National Cemetery, which serves as a shrine honoring the service and sacrifice of Veterans. The goal of this contract is to maintain a dignified environment for visitors and employees by ensuring humane removal of geese year-round, contributing to a clean and respectful atmosphere. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for goose removal and mitigation services. Key tasks include: - Implementing an intensive and humane year-round hazing protocol; - Performing egg depredation and nest removal; - Being on call to respond within two hours if requested; - Ensuring no interference with cemetery operations; - Servicing the cemetery twice daily during heavy migration periods (December through May) between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM; - Achieving a 99% goose-free environment at the cemetery. Period of Performance The contract will have a base year of 12 months followed by four option years, anticipated from April 01, 2026 to March 31, 2031.
