Background The North Attleborough Electric Department (NAED) is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for the repair and installation of new panels at the Operations Center Rear Warehouse located at 275 Landry Avenue. This initiative is in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149, which governs building and construction contracts in Massachusetts. Work Details The scope of work includes: - Removal and disposal/recycling of existing damaged panels. - Furnishing and installing replacement panels that best match the existing ones, including: - New insulation for the first approximately 9 feet of the exterior wall from the corner. - Matching break metal trim at the panel base. - New corner trim at the damaged area. - Fasteners and sealants for a weather-tight installation. - Securing new and existing walls to the foundation using 14-gauge base angle iron attachment to the foundation. - Applying for, obtaining, and submitting all necessary permits and filings associated with the job. - All labor must be compensated at prevailing wage rates. - A Certificate of Insurance (C.O.I.) naming North Attleborough Electric as the certificate holder is required, including coverage for workers’ compensation, auto liability, and general liability with a minimum of $1,000,000 coverage. - OSHA training and certification are mandatory.
