This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The Request for Quotation number is 70Z08426Q34262PR260000005 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-06. This acquisition is being solicited as small business set-aside/small business size standard is $9MIL. The NAICS is 811121. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The Government proposes to solicit quotes for the following item(s): The Contractor shall provide replacement plywood for the ceiling and walls, replacement interior and exterior lights, new door locks for the two entry/exit doors, ceiling membrane, and flooring material. The Contractor shall also include any installation charges on a separate line item. An in-person site visit will be held at the address in section 3.1 on 12FEB26 at 0930; contact the unit POC to confirm your attendance and gain access to base. Background The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Maritime Safety and Security Team Los Angeles/Long Beach (MSST LA/LB) is seeking to upgrade a 24’ Wells Cargo enclosed box trailer to ensure it is serviceable. The trailer currently shows signs of rainwater intrusion, which has compromised the ceiling, three side walls, wood flooring, and one countertop workbench. The goal of this contract is to return the trailer to a fully operational condition. Work Details The Contractor shall provide the following services: 1. Replacement plywood for the ceiling and walls. 2. Replacement interior and exterior lights. 3. New door locks for the two entry/exit doors. 4. Replacement of the overhead ceiling (24’ L x 8’ W) ensuring it is watertight. 5. Replacement of the rear workbench top. 6. Installation of a unit-provided toolbox to ensure the trailer’s roadworthiness. 7. Furnishing and installation of vinyl flooring (24’ x 8’ W). 8. All installation charges must be included as a separate line item in the proposal. The contractor must conduct all installations according to specific material manufacturer specifications and standard industry practices. Place of Performance Work may be performed at the Contractor’s facility within 25 driving miles from the unit or at the unit located at 1001 S. Seaside Ave., San Pedro, CA 90731.
