Background The Cordova Ranger District, part of the Chugach National Forest, is seeking a contractor to provide non-personal services for aerial transportation of materials and supplies between staging areas and designated work sites. The goal of this contract is to facilitate the transportation of materials to and from remote work sites within the district, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Work Details The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other items necessary for the aerial transportation of materials and supplies. Specific tasks include: 1) Haul and Backhaul Material: Provide helicopter transport of materials to/from staging areas as coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), including 48-hour notification prior to service needs. 2) Fuel Charges Invoicing: Coordinate with the COR before invoicing for fuel costs incurred during Task 1. The Contractor will be reimbursed for actual fuel costs without profit. Deliverables include electronic invoices submitted via www.IPP.gov within 30 days of performance and fuel charge invoices submitted with detailed information. Period of Performance The contract will have a base period followed by four optional ordering periods, each lasting 12 months. Place of Performance The work will be performed at various locations throughout the Cordova Ranger District in Chugach National Forest.
