Background The U.S. Forest Service is issuing a contract for renovations at the Strawberry Kamas Bunkhouse located within the Uinta/Wasatch/Cache National Forest. Work Details The scope of work includes: 1. Asbestos Abatement: Perform asbestos-related work in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and State of Utah regulations. This includes establishing an asbestos control area, monitoring airborne concentrations of asbestos fibers, and ensuring proper disposal of asbestos waste. 2. Mold Remediation: Handle and control mold contaminated materials, including demolition and removal of affected surfaces, while ensuring worker safety and environmental protection. 3. Exterior Painting: Repair, prepare, sand, and paint the exterior shed at the South Residence, including all siding and trim components. 4.
