Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for Initial Outfitting, Transition, and Activation (IOTA) Services for the Sarasota Outpatient Clinic (OPC). The goal of this contract is to provide necessary support for the pre-activation and activation phases of the clinic, ensuring that it is fully equipped and operational to serve veterans effectively. Work Details The contractor is required to provide IOTA services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include: 1. Pre-Activation Services: Tasks include planning and coordination activities necessary for the clinic's readiness prior to opening. Specific sections of the PWS detail these tasks, including but not limited to site assessments, equipment procurement, and staff training. 2. Activation Services: This involves executing plans developed during the pre-activation phase, ensuring that all systems are operational and staff are prepared for patient care. 3. Optional Tasks: These may include warehousing management services as well as additional activation services as needed based on project schedules. Period of Performance The contract period includes a base year starting from April 30, 2026, with a total estimated performance duration of 39 months.
