The agency aims to ensure secure and compliant destruction of sensitive documents, particularly those containing Protected Health Information (PHI), in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Work Details The vendor must provide off-site document shredding services for multiple locations across the Northern Region of Mississippi, including but not limited to: NPR District II Office in Tupelo, Alcorn CHD in Corinth, Itawamba CHD in Fulton, and various other community health departments. Services must comply with HIPAA, FISMA, and NAID standards. The contractor is responsible for providing secure totes for collection at each site and ensuring a secure chain of custody from collection to destruction. All shredding must be performed using shredders that meet a minimum of Level P. Contractor responsibilities include assigning an Account Representative, ensuring personnel are well-groomed and identifiable, adhering to non-smoking policies at state facilities, and maintaining safety standards during operations. Period of Performance The estimated period of performance is from March 6, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The agency reserves the right to renew the contract for up to three additional one-year periods. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations throughout Northern Mississippi including Tupelo, Corinth, Fulton, Oxford, Batesville, Hernando, Starkville, and others as specified in the solicitation. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have at least three years of relevant experience in providing similar services. Required certifications include a business license registered with the Mississippi Secretary of State and a NAID AAA Certification. Bidders must also demonstrate financial stability through recent audited financial statements. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is mandatory.
