Background The City of Caldwell is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced pyrotechnic service providers to produce a safe, memorable, and visually spectacular 4th of July fireworks display. This display will serve as a centerpiece for the City’s Independence Day celebrations, attracting residents and visitors of all ages. The RFP aims to identify providers capable of delivering a fully licensed and insured fireworks show that complies with all federal, state, and local safety regulations. Work Details The fireworks display will last at least 25 minutes and must include a distinct opening and closing. Fireworks shells ranging from 2.5" to 8" will be used, including low-level fireworks. The potential vendor must propose a site-appropriate display following all regulatory requirements. The display will be fired either electronically or manually, with all materials clearly marked and delivered on the day of firing. The vendor is responsible for providing necessary safety equipment, tools, and materials for the display setup. Cleanup responsibilities include removing all firing materials and debris within three hours after the event, as well as conducting a follow-up inspection for unexploded shells the next morning. The vendor must also obtain all required permits and licenses from the City of Caldwell. Period of Performance The fireworks display is scheduled for July 4th, 2026, at 10:15 PM. Bidder Requirements Proposers must demonstrate experience with large-scale public displays and have the ability to coordinate with City staff and emergency services. Additionally, they must comply with specific certifications regarding anti-boycott laws related to Israel, ownership by entities associated with China, abortion services affiliations, and environmental standards.
