Background

The 131st Mission Support Group contracting office is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a firm-fixed price contract for non-personal services. The goal of the contract is to replace the boiler in Building 290 at Jefferson Barracks Air National Guard Station (ANGS). This project aims to enhance energy efficiency, reliability, and system performance while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Work Details

The contractor will provide all necessary plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision to replace the existing 1988 model year 336,000 BTU/h hot water boiler with a new high-efficiency condensing boiler. The project includes: 1. Demolition and Removal: - Safely disconnecting and removing the existing boiler and associated piping, valves, controls, and components. - Removing the existing pump and 2HP pump motor. - Proper disposal of all removed equipment in accordance with local regulations. 2. Installation of New High-Efficiency Condensing Boiler: - Supplying and installing a new high-efficiency modulating condensing boiler with a capacity of at least 336,000 Btu/hr that meets or exceeds Energy Star requirements or has a minimum 95% AFUE rating. - Ensuring compliance with local building codes and providing all necessary mounting hardware, insulation, and accessories for proper installation.

Period of Performance

The contract duration will be 60 calendar days after notice to proceed.
