Background

The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) of the Veterans Affairs has a requirement for grounds maintenance at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. The goal of this contract is to ensure that ground maintenance services are performed in a manner that maintains proper decorum and respect, while also ensuring the health and appearance of the cemetery's grass, trees, shrubs, and plants. Work Details: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary for grounds maintenance at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Services include: - Maintenance of grounds - Regular mowing - Weed eating - Blade edging - Trimming - Removal of leaves and debris - Sweeping or blowing off roads in accordance with the Statement of Work. The work must present a groomed, clean, neat, and professional appearance. Period of Performance: The contract will be performed over a base year with four option periods. Place of Performance: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
