Background The Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA), part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), is tasked with developing civilian and military specialists from the Near East and South Asia. This contract aims to provide professional seminars for mid-to-upper level military and civilian officials in national security policy and strategy planning divisions of regional governments. The goal of this contract is to support the NESA Senior Executive Forum by providing simultaneous interpretation services. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary items to complete the administrative and program management support services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include: - Providing simultaneous interpretation services during the Senior Executive Forum from February 6 to February 13, 2026 (with no services on February 7 and 8). - Setting up and dismantling equipment. - Operating, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment as needed. - Conducting testing/rehearsals for interpreters prior to contract performance to ensure proficiency. - Ensuring that all interpreters present themselves professionally and maintain high standards of professionalism.
