Background The Langley Catholic program at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) is one of the largest chapel activities in the Air Force, offering a wide range of liturgical activities. The program operates a fast-paced, multi-faceted initiative that necessitates high levels of coordination and cooperation among its staff. The goal of this contract is to provide musical leadership for the 0900 Catholic Mass at Langley AFB Chapel or any other designated location as assigned by the Catholic Priest or Contract Officer. Work Details The contractor shall provide musical leadership through hymns, organ playing, vocal singing, and appropriate instruments for the Sacred Liturgy during the 0900 Catholic Mass. Services include: - 52 regular Masses annually - 52 rehearsals annually - 10 special Masses/services annually - 10 special rehearsals annually This totals 124 units of work. The contractor will perform all services for regularly scheduled Masses, choir rehearsals, and additional services requested by the Catholic Priest/Chaplain. They must coordinate all support requirements with the Catholic Priest or their designee and follow operating instructions for the use and care of buildings and equipment. Period of Performance From March 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027 with options extending from March 1, 2027 to February 29, 2028.
