The washers and dryers will be rented from the contractor, in new condition, and the contractor shall also perform quarterly inspections/preventative maintenance, and perform repairs on an as needed basis. The goal of this contract is to provide, install, and maintain washers and dryers on a rental basis at Langley AFB, VA, ensuring that these appliances are in new condition and operational for the base's facilities. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to deliver the following services: 1. Provide and install washers and dryers in compliance with specifications outlined in Technical Exhibit B. 2. Ensure all washers are coinless, commercial home style with a minimum capacity of 14 pounds and 3.8 cubic feet; dryers must be electric, coinless with a minimum capacity of 7 cubic feet. 3. Install stackable washers/dryers that fit in utility closets accessed by standard doors. 4. Provide two washers and two dryers in each Base Fitness Center located at specified buildings. 5. Conduct quarterly inspections/preventative maintenance and perform repairs as needed. 6. Submit reports within five business days after quarterly service detailing service performed, technician names, and any issues encountered. Period of Performance The performance will consist of one (1) 12-month base period followed by four (4) one-year option periods. Place of Performance Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.
