Background The Bureau of Reclamation’s Eastern Colorado Area Office, Warehouse, and Flatiron in Loveland, Colorado require garbage and recycling services. The agency's mission is to manage water resources in the western United States. This contract aims to ensure efficient waste management at their facilities. Work Details The contractor is required to remove garbage and recycle from the Area Office, Flatiron, and Warehouse. This includes the rental of various dumpsters: one 8-yard mixed recycle dumpster and one 8-yard garbage dumpster at ECAO; one 8-yard garbage dumpster and one 8-yard mixed recycle dumpster at FI; and a 30 cubic yard garbage container at FI which will be emptied on an as-needed basis (approximately six times a year). At the Warehouse, one 2 cubic yard dumpster and one 3 cubic yard mixed recycle dumpster will be provided. All dumpsters, except for the 30-yard container, must have lids with latches to prevent opening due to wind or animal activity. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform these services satisfactorily. Services must meet or exceed industry standards. Period of Performance The anticipated term of the purchase order is from March 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027, with four additional one-year option periods that may be exercised at the discretion of the Bureau of Reclamation. Place of Performance The services will be performed at two locations: Eastern Colorado Area Office and Flatiron Powerplant located at 11056 W. CR 18E, Loveland, CO 80537; and Warehouse located at 910 Van Buren Avenue, Loveland, CO 80537.
