Background The Oklahoma City Area Office (OCAO) of the Indian Health Services (IHS) is seeking to procure onsite document destruction services for government documents that contain sensitive, confidential, and medical records. This initiative supports clinics and hospitals located in Oklahoma and Kansas, ensuring compliance with regulations regarding the handling of sensitive information. Work Details The contractor is required to provide onsite shredding services on a quad-weekly and bi-weekly basis across various IHS locations. The specific tasks include: - Providing quad-weekly shredding services at designated facilities such as Anadarko Indian Health Center, Carnegie Indian Health Center, Haskell Indian Health Center, Wewoka Indian Health Center, Pawnee Indian Health Center, Clinton Indian Health Center, Watonga Indian Health Center, and El Reno Indian Health Clinic. - Providing bi-weekly shredding services at OCAO IHS and Lawton Indian Hospital. - Ensuring the use of lockable bins for secure document storage prior to shredding. - Delivering a Certificate of Destruction after each service to confirm that all documents have been properly shredded. - Compliance with technical requirements including NAID AAA certification and on-site cross-cut shredding that produces particles of 1mm x 5mm or smaller. Period of Performance The base period of performance will be from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027, with four optional twelve-month extensions available.
