Background The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), part of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA), is seeking sealed bids for Trailer Mounted – Under-Bridge Inspection Trailers. The primary customer for these trailers is the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). Work Details The contract involves the provision of Trailer Mounted – Under-Bridge Inspection Trailers. Respondents must provide detailed specifications and requirements as outlined in Attachment G. The trailers must be new, unused, and the latest model in current production. They should include all necessary parts for complete operation, be fully assembled, and ready for continuous operation upon delivery. Period of Performance The initial term of the contract will commence on the effective date specified in a Notice of Award issued by CPA and will automatically expire on January 31, 2027. There are options for renewal: 1st Renewal from February 1, 2027 to January 31, 2028; 2nd Renewal from February 1, 2028 to January 31, 2029; 3rd Renewal from February 1, 2029 to January 31, 2030; and a potential fourth renewal up to one additional year. Place of Performance The geographic location for performance includes delivery to various highway districts as specified in purchase orders issued by CPA or TxDOT. Bidder Requirements Respondents must comply with specific insurance requirements including commercial general liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate. They must also provide proof of insurance within five business days upon request. Additionally, any subcontractors performing work under this contract must meet the same minimum insurance requirements.
