Background The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Galveston District is seeking information from industry for the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, Texas Placement Area No. 102C and 108 Improvements project. Work Details The contract involves the following construction tasks: Schedule No. 1 includes a three (3) foot dike raise, inlet structure repairs, and shoreline protection on both the northeast and southeast corners of the placement area. Option 1 consists of clearing and grubbing, conducting geotechnical investigations near the existing inlet structure and projected borrow areas, as well as performing topographic surveys of the existing conditions of the placement area. All construction performance must comply with the USACE Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1), along with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances, codes, and regulations. Period of Performance The anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about June 2026, with an estimated proposal due date in July 2026. The estimated award date is on or about August 2026.
