Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of a key piece of equipment, specifically the engine for a 2011 John Deere 644K Loader, to support operations at Grand Teton National Park. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the loader is operational and meets or exceeds the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: - Replace the engine with a remanufactured unit. - Replace all necessary parts to ensure proper and reliable performance. - Provide all necessary shop supplies and disposals. - Guarantee all work and components/parts for a period of 2 years from completion and pick-up date. - Ensure that all vehicle systems and accessories are functioning properly, with specific attention to the correct operation of additional accessories such as the patient/medical box. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will be from February 9, 2026, to April 30, 2026, with installation and commissioning to be completed within 60 days after contract award. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.
