The 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota, is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the resources to provide the following: There is the need for contractors to provide Elevator Maintenance services to ensure that the base elevators are working smoothly and fluidly. The contractor will ensure all elevators are properly maintained according to the PWS. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Contractor is required to provide all management and labor required for the operation and management of the required services. Include three past references with current contact information and contract number. If subcontracts are to be used, provide anticipated percentage of effort to be subcontracted and whether small or large businesses will be used. The capabilities package should be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. Recent, relevant experience in all areas should be provided. Teaming and/or subcontracting arrangements should be clearly delineated and previous experience in teaming must be provided. The response must not exceed 5 pages. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS (SB), please list all set asides pertinent to your company, and a single award MAY be made. Background The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota is seeking contractors to provide Elevator Maintenance services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the base elevators operate smoothly and efficiently, adhering to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This sources sought notice serves as a market research tool to identify potential contractors capable of fulfilling these requirements. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for full maintenance and repair of Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) including freight and passenger elevators, escalators, wheelchair/stair lifts, dock levelers, and dumbwaiters as listed in Appendix B. The contract includes all inspections, maintenance, repairs, replacements, and routine and emergency service calls necessary to maintain safe operation. Work must comply with ASME A17.1-2016 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ANSI/ASME A17.2-2017 Guide for Inspection of Elevators, and other relevant standards. Excluded services include alterations or modernizations, damage from vandalism or acts of God, cosmetic repairs, and routine cleaning of interiors and exteriors. The contractor must also develop a quality control program to ensure compliance with applicable standards. Place of Performance The services will be performed at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota.
