Background The United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division to procure refuse and recycling collection services at the Barnes Building located at 495 Summer Street, Boston, MA. The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and environmentally safe workplace free of debris and pests in support of the division's mission. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel, and other items necessary to perform refuse collection and recycling services as detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Services include: 1. Collection of refuse from all contractor-provided containers as per the site plan. 2. Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste management. 3. Maintenance of effective quality control to ensure services meet contract requirements. 4. Adherence to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for performance evaluation. Period of Performance The contract will have a period of performance consisting of one 12-month base year followed by four 12-month option periods.
