Background The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), part of the U.S. Department of Energy, is responsible for providing reliable, cost-based hydroelectric power and related services to its customers. This contract aims to secure janitorial and custodial services for the Dawson County Maintenance Center located in Glendive, Montana. The goal is to maintain a clean and safe working environment for the personnel operating in the facility. Work Details The contractor will provide janitorial services for an office/maintenance building consisting of approximately 5,330 square feet. The areas to be cleaned include six offices, a printer/copier room, two restrooms, a break room, a linemen office, and three shop rooms. Specific tasks include: - Weekly cleaning services; - Quarterly and semiannual deep cleaning within 30 days of contract award (weather permitting); - Ongoing maintenance as per the performance work statement (PWS). Areas not requiring service include vehicle bays, mezzanine, electrician area, and communication equipment room. A site visit is encouraged to familiarize with the cleaning requirements.
