The contract aims to provide instruction for a Basic Riding Course (BHC) to prepare Soldiers for riding horses during ceremonies and work at Arlington National Cemetery alongside the Caisson wagon. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personnel services necessary for basic riding instruction for the Caisson Detachment. Key tasks include: - Providing a weekly training report and daily sign-in roster. - Communicating daily with the Caisson Liaison regarding planned instruction. - Maintaining a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio with at least one head instructor. - Transporting horses and equipment if training occurs at an alternate site. - Following the provided curriculum (BHC Program of Instruction) tailored to meet the needs of the Caisson Detachment. - Ensuring that all services are performed to standards and acceptable quality levels as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) and may include alternate sites as necessary.
