Requirement for Bid Bond

Background The City of Omaha is seeking bids for trash container services at the Papio Creek Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). Work Details The contractor will provide two (2) 20-yard containers, one for each of the following locations: Headwork’s Screenings Load Out Garage and North Storage Pad Area. The containers must be in good condition, upright, and level. The vendor is responsible for all damages incurred during loading, unloading, and transporting the containers. Services include: 1. Weekly service for the Headwork’s Screenings Load Out Garage (52 pulls per year), estimated disposal of 12 tons per pull. 2. Monthly service for the North Storage Pad Area (12 pulls per year), estimated disposal of 8 tons per pull. 3. Additional pickups must be serviced within 24 hours of notice. 4. All materials must be disposed of at the municipal landfill in accordance with applicable laws. 5. Monthly billing for services rendered, with invoices directed to the City of Omaha Papillion Creek WRRF. Period of Performance The initial term of this agreement is one (1) year, with an option for up to three (3) one-year extensions based on performance and pricing proposals submitted by the contractor. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the Papio Creek Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility located at 15705 Harlan Lewis Road, Bellevue, NE 68123.
