Work Details The contractor will provide inspection services and MRSE (Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert) services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include: 1. Conducting inspections of imaging equipment such as x-ray, nuclear medicine cameras, PET/CT cameras, ultrasound units, and MRIs to ensure compliance with American College of Radiology (ACR) standards. 2. Performing annual evaluations on radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, computed radiography (CR), digital radiography (DR), CT scanners, dental x-rays, MRI scanners, and PET scanners. 3. Providing quarterly testing on Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment. 4. Supporting services including telephone support, annual reviews of imaging protocols and QA programs, shielding design calculations, over-exposure support/assistance, and maintenance of reports and records. 5. Documenting all tests in formal reports submitted within specified timeframes after completion. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a five-year period from February 1, 2026 to January 31, 2031 with multiple ordering periods. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center located at 5500 E. Kellogg Avenue, Wichita KS 67218-1607.
