The 5th Contracting Squadron at Minot AFB, ND is seeking to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing a high-fidelity, 1:8 scale static display model (heritage quality) of a B-52H Stratofortress bomber. The model is intended for permanent outdoor display to honor the heritage of the aircraft and the service members who operate and maintain it. The requirement is for the complete fabrication and delivery of the model, which must feature an accurate and detailed exterior finish. No internal components, mechanics, or cockpit details are required. The vendor must provide a product capable of withstanding the demanding environmental conditions of North Dakota. Final assembly and installation will be handled by Government personnel. Request for Industry Comments on Draft SOW The Government is contemplating a future solicitation based on the attached Draft SOW. Recognizing that the current draft may be improved, the Government invites all potential respondents to provide comments, identify ambiguities, and offer recommendations to enhance the clarity and completeness of the requirements. Areas of particular interest for feedback include, but are not limited to: - Industry best practices for materials and fabrication of large-scale outdoor models. - Specific recommendations for design standards, materials, and coatings necessary to withstand high wind loads, extreme temperature cycles (-40 F to +100 F), heavy snow/ice accumulation, and long-term UV exposure common to Minot, ND. - Specific details regarding aircraft markings, paint schemes, and finishing required for an authentic heritage display. - Common engineering and design considerations for mounting solutions.

Required Vendor Information / Capability Statement All interested parties are invited to submit a Capability Statement. The statement should, at a minimum, include the following: - Company name, address, CAGE code, and UEI number. - Point of contact with phone number and email address. - A brief description of the company and its capabilities as they relate to the requirements outlined in the SOW. - A portfolio or description of past projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. Please provide examples of fabricating large-scale models or similar custom structures, particularly those intended for outdoor use. 4.
