Bidders are required to submit their bids indicating the annual cash rental on a per-acre basis for each unit they wish to lease. Successful bidders must adhere to a crop rotation plan negotiated prior to planting, ensuring no single crop is planted in a field for more than two consecutive years unless approved by the area manager. Additionally, two percent (2%) of all crops must remain standing as a food source for wildlife. The lessee is responsible for all aspects of crop maintenance including equipment, labor, and compliance with agricultural best practices.
